It Doesn’t Stop here Either….

While on the subject of the unknown, I couldn’t help contemplating a few more aspects of it… and of course one blog just couldn’t satisfy my unknown addiction… so here is another in the collection of my unknowns….

One interesting quote of all time has to be this:

“There are known knowns. There are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we now know we don’t know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we do not know we don’t know.”

Do any of you have any idea of who’s quote this is?? Ok so I know you are going to google it or wordpress it and cheat… Go ahead… at least satisfy your desire to know! Which come to think of it …. ;]

I love this quote and have never heard it before. I often wonder about things that I have never known that I did not know. I learn things every day. I enjoy learning so much. I often wonder what other people are doing in other parts of the world at the exact time I am doing something. Do people wake up at the same time as me? What is the weather like? And the days I think sometimes, “wow, just yesterday I had know idea about this”. I believe learning is infinite, no one, no where, will ever know all there is to know!

Sometimes not knowing the mysteries of the unknown is very complexed. Knowing and learning the unknown can always go in many different directions. Many not good, and many great! We just never really understand when we decover the truths, good or great how to deal with them, because in reality most of the time its better not knowing!!!! Reality is always better than the Fantasies!!
Some how the Fantasies never work out the way we see them.

It very well could be possible that it is better not knowing the truth about the unknown. In addition, you are right, fantasies no not always work themselves out to be the way we see them.

Disappointing as many truths are and can be, knowing is a way of closure and confirmation. Once we know the truth of the unknown, whatever it may be, gives us an opportunity to move on. Perhaps we never get it… but we can learn to accept it for what it is!

However, speaking for the majority of humankind … I will take the truth at any course.
