LegoLand Adventure

The pep’s class recently went on a fieldtrip to LegoLand.  Being a big time lego wheel and dealer, the Pep was estatic to go!  Of course I volunteered to drive and we were off in a flash.  I drove three 1st graders and 1 mom in the car.  It was a little bit of a struggle at first, especially since I had come down with food poisoning the night before… ugh it figures right?  Needless to say I was able to keep on trucking and we ended up having a blast, especially those 1st graders.

At one point, one of the moms keep eyeing me.  I watched as she finally got the nerve to approach me to spark a conversation.  Not to my surprise, the first thing out of her mouth was, “Oh, it sure is nice of you to drive your little brother!”  I had to then explain that the Pep was not my little brother and if fact my son.  I know I look 16 and all but geez….. she had a few other choice questions too.  Oh some people, I’m telling you.

In conclusion, the Pep was in heaven and ended up getting a few “rare” pieces to add to his Lego collection.  When we were leaving, you better believe he was already asking me when he could go back.

Here are a few pics of the event…..
